Snellville Police Department Goverment - City of Snellville, GA - Winter Construction
We are currently providing surveying services for the general contractor, Winter Construction, at the new City of Snellville Police Department project. The new police station will be located at the corner of Clower Street and Wisteria Drive. The facility will consist of 29,800 square feet and is projected to be completed in February, 2011.
GSD is providing survey control and quality control services on this project.

Clarke Hill S/D Residential Subdivision - City of Decatur/DeKalb County - JM Midway Road, L.P.
The Midway Commons development is a "Conservation-Zoned" neighborhood offering 27 private lots located on nearly 10 acres which includes close to 5 acres of undisturbed greenspace. Midway Commons is the first new subdivision to be built within the city limits of Decatur in many years and is only minutes from the downtown area and Agnes Scott College.
This development is currently in the final stages of site construction. GSD is serving as project managers and overseeing erosion control maintenace and monitoring for the development. Our design helped to develop the property while preserving the natural beauty of the surroudning greenspace. We developed the site construction documents and handled all permitting with the City of Decatur and DeKalb County.

The Preserve at East Atlanta S/D Residential Subdivision - DeKalb County, GA - Springdale Capital Homes
The Preserve at East Atlanta is DeKalb County's first "Conservation-Zoned" neighborhood boasting 131 distinctive Craftsman Style homes nestled on 53 acres that includes an uprecedented 18 acres of undisturbed greenspace. The Preserve is an exceptional neighborhood being developed within its own nature preserve, all a short distance from the city and conveniently located from Interstate 20.
Our design helped to develop the homesites while preserving the natural beauty of the acreage. We developed the site construction documents, handled all permitting with DeKalb County, oversaw development of the site through our project management division, and handled the preparation and recording of the project's final plats. In addition, GSD is currently providing all residential services for this subdivision to the developer including site plan and final as-built survey development and house staking on an individual lot basis.

Circlestone Ridge Residential Subdivision - DeKalb County, GA - Habitat for Humanity DeKalb, Inc
The Circlestone Ridge subdivision is Habitat for Humanity - DeKalb, Inc's first developed neighborhood boasting nine homes located on four acres in the Panola Road area. GSD has enjoyed a proud partnership with Habitat for Humanity - DeKalb, Inc over the years, providing surveying and residential services to this organization on all their infill projects.
Circlestone Ridge was the first project that Habitat for Humanity has undertaken of its size. We are currently completing the permitting phase of this development with DeKalb County and the tentative schedule for construction is t0 begin in September, 2010. GSD has provided the intial property survey, civil design, and permitting to date on this project and will handle construction staking during development. In addition, we will provide residential site plans and final as-built surveys in the future.

Paces Common Condominium Development - Cobb County, GA - Bank of America
Paces Common is a high-end development conventiently located in the Smyrna/Vinings area in Cobb County. The 20-unit, three-story condominium project is located on 2.63 acres just a few blocks away from I-285.
GSD was retained by Bank of America initally to provide a current ALTA survey. We later completed a final property assessment of the development for BOA which included due diligence as to permit status Cobb County and a cost-to-complete anaylsis under current construction costs.

Lampkin Street Cottages Infill Development - Fulton County, GA - McConnell Homes
The Lampkin Street Cottages is an infill development located in Old Fourth Ward, one of Atlanta's hottest neighborhoods. The 12-cottage development was built to fit seamlessly with the surrounding historic district while featuring a central shared courtyard and attractive landscaping which gives the feel of a small town living conventiently located to Intown Atlanta. We provided the initial engineering and surveying for the development.
